Terms

The service
nodd provides software for privacy notices, a consent banner, consent records and related tools, run by Debayan. During early access the service is free and may change, pause or stop. We will tell account holders by email before anything that affects their data.
Not legal advice
nodd is software, not a law firm, and not a registered Consent Manager under the DPDP Rules. Templates, citations and generated notices are starting drafts. You are responsible for checking that what you publish is accurate for your business, ideally with your own legal advisor.
Your account and content
- Give us a working email address and keep access to it: it is how you sign in.
- You own the notices and settings you create. You let us store and display them so the service works, for example on your Privacy Center.
- You decide what data your banner collects consent for. For your visitors' consent records, we act on your instructions as your processor.
Acceptable use
Do not use nodd to mislead people about how their data is used, to collect consent for unlawful purposes, to attack or overload the service, or to access other businesses' data. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and changes
We work to keep nodd running and your records safe, but the service is provided as it is, without promises of uninterrupted availability. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the version above and tell account holders by email.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, nodd is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. During free early access that amount is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Ending the service
You can stop using nodd and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing debayansen.ds.ds@gmail.com. Consent records you are required to keep can be exported first. We may close accounts that break these terms, with notice where we can.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
